About Us

Originating from the city of Lowell, Massachussetts, Photo Figures Plus was inspired by a long time friend & photographer, Normand Lareau Jr. , owner of Natural Expressions Photography (located in Dracut, Mass.) Having previously purchased photo sculptures from other vendors, Normand felt they lacked real "spit & polish". Having acquired a newfound passion for woodworking, I saw the potential for a great product, virtually unknown. After creating my very first statuette, I was hooked! It didn't take long to expand into different 3-D interpretations of my many loved photos and snapshots. Coming from a family of eight children, there was certainly no loss for material! (My mother was always a picture nut with scores of photo albums!-can you relate?) Having experience in different artistic mediums, (polymer clay/ figurines, illustration, lettering/calligraphy, poster design, etc.) I took to creating photo gifts like a fish takes to water! As every memory and moment in time is priceless to each & every one of us, everyone has at least 1 picture they love. The reasons are endless...Bringing new dimension to a photo, brings it "center stage ." Needless to say, I take great pleasure and pride in my work and products as I know you and your loved ones will in the results!
       After explaining my products to someone recently, I realized that these products are more than just "novelty gifts". They actually preserve a piece of time-captured in time, for posterity. Your children's children will also be able to appreciate this finely crafted keepsake...
